ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

University of Ghana has a 4-structure collegiate system. Students and academics benefit from belonging both to the University, a large, well-renowned institution through a college, department or hall. There are sixteen permanent halls of residence. The campuses also have the biggest library in West Africa, Balme Library, with 6 departments and 1 special library for the visually and hearing impaired, a gym, an athletic oval, several shops, restaurants, seven cafeterias and laundries. The Universities research has four focal areas, Malaria Research, Trans-disciplinary Research into Climate Change Adaptation, Enhancing Food Production and Processing, Development Policy and Poverty Monitoring and Evaluation.
