Determining Final Grade Point Average (FGPA)

Assuming after the calculation Afua got GPAs for the various levels as follows:

Level 100- 3.20

Level 200- 3.60

Level 300- 2.90

Level 400- 3.00

Afua’s FGPA will be calculated as below:

Level 100 3.20× 1/6= 0.53

Level 200 3.60 × 1/6= 0.60

Level 300 2.90 × 2/6= 0.96

Level 400 3.00 × 2/6= 1.00

FGPA = 0.53 + 0.60 + 0.96 + 1.00 = 3.09

Afua’s Class: Second Class (Honours) Upper Division

Degree Classification

  • First Class - 3.60 – 4.00
