Being the first private institution in Ghana to be granted national accreditation and the first Chartered Private University in Ghana, Valley View University serves students of local and international background with categories of programs from Faculty of Science, Arts and Social Science, School of Law, Theology and Missions, Business, Education and Graduate Studies. Having received presidential charter in 2006, the university is fully accredited by the Adventist Accrediting Association, International Board of Education (IBE) of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and Ghana Accreditation Board in 1997 to award its own degrees. Valley View University has campuses in Kumasi and Techiman as well as learning centres in Takoradi and Tamale.
