ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

The groundwork for the University of Health and Allied Sciences started in 2010. The University was founded on the principle of offering a rigorous academic programme that would shape healthcare in Ghana. Currently, it runs eighteen (18) undergraduate programmes in six (6) schools and one (1) institute, It plans to establish a School of Sports and Exercise Medicine, School of Dentistry, Institute of Medical Education and Institute of Traditional and Alternate Medicine. UHAS sets high standards of behaviour, promoting traditional values which underpin life-long learning and achievement.
