Heritage Christian College (HCC) is a Christian College that seeks to “promote transformative education through active engagement in scholarship, creative pursuits, servant-leadership, and global competence.” The University has its roots in the establishment of the National Bible Institute(NIB), a two-year preacher training school established in January 1982 by the Nsawam Road Church of Christ, Ghana, to train gospel ministers.
Heritage Christian College (HCC) – who received its first accreditation in 2015- is one of the Christian colleges in Africa. The college’s academic structure is based on three colleges: Business Administration, Information Technology and Theology. The focus is: to become the flagship Christian university in Africa for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of Christ and national development. The University delivers tangible differences in the experience of students during their time of studies, and even when they become alumni. With a technology-enabled campus, students and faculty are striving towards a near-paperless educational context. The goal is for students to be on the same global competitive level as any graduate at any other university and in some ways better prepared.
